Welcome to Calm before the Storm, a fic fest dedicated to the pairing of Kim Jongdae and Oh Sehun!
Rules & Guidelines
Basic reminders
1. All works must be centered around SeChen. We will not accept OT3s. Any side pairing is fine.
2. We will use KST as time reference.
3. Please remain anonymous until reveals. Let’s make this exciting for everyone! :)
4. Tag your fics appropriately, please! If you need help on how to tag, just message the mods.
5. Please follow the schedule. If you need extensions, let the mods know beforehand. We understand that there might be situations that guarantee such, but please let us know in advance.
Who can join?
1. The fest is open to all SeChen creators - fic writers and fanartists. Fanartists could either claim from the prompt archive or self-prompt.
2. We will also open self-prompting for writers.
3. Ficdom is a wide world and is not limited to only one language. We are open to non-English fics/fanartists. Share the love for our favorite pair in your local language.
4. We allow second claims - as long as you have submitted your first. ;)
No-nos!
1. No bullying! Please respect prompters, writers, artists and mods.
2. No pedophilia, bestiality, and incest. Any works with such will be
removed by the mods.
3. No to plagiarism. ‘Nuff said.
Prompting Guidelines
PROMPTING CURRENTLY CLOSED
Before you submit your prompts, here are some reminders for you! :)
○ This is a SeChen-centered fic fest. Your prompts must be about them. Any side pair is allowed as long as the main pair is SeChen.
○ Anyone can submit a prompt - writers, artists, casual readers, etc. Anyone! Even if you don't intend to write for the fest, as long as you have a prompt that you want to share, go ahead!
○ You can submit as many prompts as you like but please submit them one by one so that the mods can organize them. Don't clump all prompts you have in one form.
○ Any genre, AU, rating is allowed. Just don't forget to identify them in your form.
○ We will ask for your e-mail/twitter handle. Don't worry. We will contact you ONLY IF the writer/artist has any questions for you later on. Otherwise, your details are safe with us!
○ Don't forget to write down your wishes and no-nos.
The mods have some no-nos as well:
ϟ We do not allow pedophilia, bestiality, and incest. If mods see any of these, we will remove your prompt.
ϟ Do not plagiarize, please! Let us know if your prompts are based on existing movies/shows/books/etc.
Claiming Guidelines
CLAIMING FOR REGULAR ROUND IS CURRENTLY CLOSED
Adoption round ongoing - please check the guidelines in the adoptions tab
○ Both fanartists and writers can claim from our archive or self-prompt!
○ We allow second claims - as long as you have submitted your first. ;)
○ We ask that you please try to commit to our schedule in regards to submission and check-ins. If for any reason you realize you might miss a deadline, please let us know! We can grant extensions as long as you talk to us.
